Week 83: Arigato
Hey everyone! Khmer New Year is coming up at the end of this week, so you know what that means... everyone is going to be leaving to their hometowns to go party.
It might be a little slower week here in Phnom Penh, but I'm really looking forward to watching general conference this week. In Cambodia we have to wait an extra week for them to translate it and then we'll go watch it with all the members (the ones that show up).
We had Mission Leadership Council this week which was good. Some good discussions about things we can do to help strengthen our mission before it splits into two in the next few months and to help prepare it for the new mission presidents. Always so much fun sleeping over with all the homies too. No sleep.
Our friend Pol Peab hasn't been able to come to church the past couple of weeks, but he is so awesome. Please pray for him.
Seng Thai is doing awesome. He said he would love to go to General Conference in Utah one day so I hope he will be able to watch it with us this weekend. Please pray for him as well!
Things are going good with Elder Legarto, aka Arigato. Every time he tells someone his name they think he says "arigato." I'm learning a lot from Arigato already.
Have a great week everyone, I miss you all!
Love,
Elder Mendenhall
