Week 79: The 2,000

Short email this week because I ran out of time and I don't remember a lot, hahaha.

I got to do an exchange with my grandson, Elder Foster, this week which was lots of fun. It was great to get to know him some more and it reminded me of what it was like when I was in my first transfer.

My father, Elder Schofield, is also visiting Cambodia with his parents right now and they treated us to some Domino's pizza. Elder Schofield spent around 3 or 4 hours to go contacting with me and my companion in the evening. Beast. Brought back a lot of memories. Elder Schofield and I would always eat Domino's pizza on Tuesdays before contacting all day. It was really awesome getting to do some contacting with him and actually being able to talk with him rather than just standing there watching him talk. My comp, Elder Chen, and I talked to the most people I have talked to in a while. We were dead after, but it felt so good.

We also had zone conference this week too and talked about the stripling warriors so I wanted to share this scripture.

Alma 57:21
Yea, and they did obey and observe to perform every word of command with exactness; yea, and even according to their faith it was done unto them; and I did remember the words which they said unto me that their mothers had taught them.
