Week 77: Lone Star
Elder Chen and I went to a restaurant this week that was Texas-themed. Felt like home. Juicy bacon burger and some delicious, loaded fries with gravy. I love gravy.
We also had MLC (Mission Leadership Council) this week and talked some more about what we can do to help our mission progress and improve. We really focused on making a constant effort to always invite those around us to come unto Christ, whether they be down the street or at a member's house. Making a consistent effort will bring miracles. It's always great seeing the homies too and getting free food. There's no such thing as too much pizza.
Sen Sok and Tuol Sang Ke are lots of fun. Lots of members and teaching friends to get to know. It's also really cool seeing a lot of the returned missionaries that I have served with before.
Elder Chen and I were able to meet and teach a couple of new friends this week. Their names are Bong Chhay and Bong Ga. They are a very nice couple and I hope we can help them find the happiness they can receive from the gospel.
Short week, but I love and miss you all!
Love,
Elder Mendenhall
