Week 47: Full Circle

This week has been so awesome. I love it here in Ta Khmau. I've only been here for a week, but I have seen so many miracles and have seen the Lord's hand so present in my life.

We have some really awesome teaching friends right now and the members are amazing.

Like I said before, my brother served in Ta Khmau about 6-7 years ago and so it's been really cool to meet members that knew and remember my brother. Specifically, one family has really helped me to see the Lord's hand in my life.

When my brother finished his mission, my family and I got to go to Cambodia and visit some of the people he met throughout his mission. When we went to visit Ta Khmau we met Bong Chan, Bong Vy and their daughters. Seeing how the gospel changed their lives changed my life and made me want to serve a mission.

Fast forward to now and I am serving in Ta Khmau. On Saturday I saw Bong Chan, Bong Vy, and their daughter Chee Da walk into the church and I was so happy to see them. Seeing that they are still coming to church after all these years filled my heart. Their oldest daughter, Chee Da, is 17 now and she is planning on serving a mission which is so awesome.

It's so amazing what this gospel can do for people, and I truly know that it changes people's lives. It has changed mine and I know Christ's love is perfect for all of us. He suffered all things because He loves us so much. I have seen the Lord's hand so strongly in my life lately and I know you all can too if you really seek for it.

1 Nephi 19:9
"And the world, because of their iniquity, shall judge him to be a thing of naught; wherefore they scourge him, and he suffereth it; and they smite him, and he suffereth it. Yea, they spit upon him, and he suffereth it, because of his loving kindness and his long-suffering towards the children of men."
