Week 44: Movin'

Today we moved houses, so it took up most of the day and I'm feeling too lazy to write an email, but I'll give a quick update.

This week we had zone conference in Siem Reap and it was really good. In both district council and zone conference we focused on finding joy in the work. It is definitely hard to be happy all the time because this work is just so hard, but if you're not having joy in the things you do, you're not doing it right.

I watched a talk by President Monson this week called "Finding Joy in the Journey." This is probably one of my favorite talks now and I just loved the focus of his message. One of my favorite quotes from his talk was "Never let a problem to be solved become more important than a person to be loved." I think a lot of the time missionaries can get so lost and focused on the work, which can be a good thing, but it should never be put before making sure someone is feeling Heavenly Father's love.
