Week 41: Fathers

Happy Father's Day to all the dads out there!!

"The perfect, divine expression of fatherhood is our Heavenly Father. His character and attributes include abundant goodness and perfect love. His work and glory are the development, happiness, and eternal life of His children. Fathers in this fallen world can claim nothing comparable to the Majesty on High, but at their best, they are striving to emulate Him, and they indeed labor in His work. They are honored with a remarkable and sobering trust."

I am so thankful for my Heavenly Father. He loves me so much, and loves all of us so much, that He gave us our fathers here on Earth. I am so thankful for my dad, the example he is, and everything he does for me. Even at times when he has gotten on my nerves or I get upset with him, he is always so patient, understanding, and always loves me. Because of him I know my Heavenly Father better. At times in life, we may become angry with our Heavenly Father and may wonder why He gives us certain trials in our lives, but even when we are upset or turn away from Him, He will always open His loving arms for us. I'm thankful for all the father figures in my life, especially my own. Go tell your dad you love him! I love you, Dad!
