Week 1: Virtual MTC

Online training from home started today. My companion is Elder Wesemann from West Valley City, Utah.

This week I have been blessed with life-long friends! I'm so excited that I am able to start this journey with them as we begin our service for the Lord as missionaries for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I am so grateful for everyone in this group and their willingness to share their testimonies and their love for our Heavenly Father and his gospel. It has been one week, and I have learned so much from each and every single one of them.

Learning a new language has been a struggle for all of us, but we are struggling together and have the Lord by our sides.

In a scripture (John 14:18) that Sister Abby Ainsworth mentioned today it says, "I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you." This reminds me that through all our struggles and times of need we can pray and go to our Heavenly Father for comfort. I encourage everyone pray to God in times of need!
